Semi-Hermetic HG A EXplosive atmospheres

GEA is the first European manufacturer to offer semi-hermetic compressors certified according to ATEX category 2 (zone 1 + 2). In 2014, GEA also included compressors certified according to ATEX category 3 (zone 2) in its program. In the European Union, electrical and mechanical machinery used in explosive atmospheres must comply with ATEX standards (AT-explosive atmospheres). All ATEX compressors are also approved for use with today's hydrocarbons. The HG Series models are the ATEX versions of the basic compressors.
